SRIM is a scientific, professional and non-governmental organisation. SRIM aims to promote active research and development of the health informatics community in academic, commercial and medical fields both at home and abroad.
Romanian Society of Medical Informatics (RSMI) brings together professionals from diverse fields such as medicine, information technology, engineering, mathematics, and other disciplines who are actively involved in the development and application of health informatics. The society continues the pioneering efforts initiated in 1977 by a dedicated group of specialists, carrying forward their mission to integrate informatics into healthcare. RSMI coordinates the activities of its members to promote health informatics across Romania and supports international collaboration to foster innovation and knowledge exchange in this dynamic field.
